Cinema File: Top 10 movies of 2009
Since vacation time and leisure funds were scarce this year, a lot of people found themselves going to the movies a lot more often than they normally would. For me, it was business as usual. I typically watch at least a hundred movies a year, if not more, but always have a difficult time making a best-of list. For the purposes of this column, I'm limited to picking films that were released this year, which cuts that large number down significantly. Out of an original group of more than 30 movies, I now present to you the Cinema File Top 10 of 2009.

Cinema File: 'Cloudy' one of best movies of year
Ever since catching a matinee on Sunday, I've been raving about this movie to my friends (actually, to anyone who will listen), and it's been difficult to convince them that I'm serious. Perhaps they'll believe me once they see the following words in print: "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" is one of the best movies I've seen all year. It's certainly the funniest.
